GHIDINI

The company manufactures door and window handles using the most innovative machining processes and five main materials.

OTTONE

Copper and zinc alloy, brass is a cornerstone of GHIDINI productions. In our factories we transform it from raw to semi-finished using die-casting, hot stamping, blanking, deep drawing and turning processes on ingots, extruded bars, sheets, drawn bars.

The brass products are characterized by an extended durability, ensuring a quality finish to internal and external doors, entrance doors, windows. Thanks to the skillful workmanship of technicians in our production sites, brass can be favorably used for creating handles for antique doors or modern design handles, brass handles for interior doors and brass handles for exterior doors.

ZALOR

Zalor is a registered trademark for a special zinc, aluminium and magnesium alloy.

The product is particularly suitable for die-casting processes with which we produce articles that, after surface finishing operations, are subjected to galvanic treatments of gilding, nickel plating, rhodium, chrome plating, as well as the exclusive GHI.CO.TEC treatment.

ALUMINIUM

Aluminium is one of the most useful non-ferrous materials for the production of handles.

The merit is its low specific gravity and its good resistance to corrosion, further improved through the use of anodic oxidation processes and, thanks to our research, through the innovative treatment GHI.CO.TEC.

Lightweight and durable, the aluminium handles are ideal for creating handles for modern and essential windows, minimalist and linear.

The good quality of aluminium production also reduces the need for maintenance and care that these handles need, making them very easy to clean.

NYLON

Nylon is the trade name of polyamide 6.6, a synthetic thermoplastic resin with high mechanical properties and good chemical resistance. All nylon production is obtained by injection moulding within our production sites. Wide and versatile are the uses of nylon handles, which can now be enjoyed in the office and modern homes with identical satisfaction. A conscious choice that can be a real must thanks to the elegant and discreet look that can be given to this important design element.

STEEL

Steel is an iron alloy that contains up to 2% carbon and other elements that give the metal certain customizable characteristics.

In reference to its use, steel is commonly divided into steel for general use and special steel such as stainless steel, with better resistance to oxidation and corrosion, characteristics determined by the presence of nickel and chrome alloy.

Stainless steel handles are generally recommended where it is essential to provide a component that is strongly able to resist corrosion and wear of time, scratches and impacts. It is also an easy to clean, robust, solid material with properties that make it preferable in many residential or commercial contexts.
