The Designer Handle and the Valli & Valli Design Concept

Without a doubt, we can speak of a "before and after" Valli & Valli in the handle industry. Already in the post-war period, at its inception, the Brianza-based company was the first to introduce the concept of the "designer handle," propelling handles into a new era, that of interior design.

The handle became something truly important for interior design, no longer just a complementary accessory to the door but an integral part of the decor style.

The design work, the idea, and the signature of the designer of the moment and the architect became synonymous with excellence.

It was in 1976 when Valli & Valli introduced the Fusital line, which would characterize handle design over the years. Carlo Valli, the founder's son, made his mark with his concept of the designer handle, building upon his father's project with the "Medicea" series of handles that broke with the past in terms of both material and form.
