The revolution in the installation of internal hinged doors without screws
PosaClima officially launches on the market a revolutionary new installation system for internal hinged doors WITHOUT SCREWS called PosaClima Indoor Premium Plus! The goal was to solve a series of problems encountered by door installers when using screws for fastening, including:
- SLOWNESS in positioning screws under the door frame seals.
- DIFFICULTY in drilling iron frames in plasterboard partitions.
- DIFFICULTY in straightening warped wooden door frames with screws.
- INSECURITY of fastening in renovations, when it's necessary to remove part of the old wooden frame to fit the door, forcing the installer to fix directly to the partition.
The heart of the system is the innovative foam adhesive DOOR FIX, which glues the door frame to the false frame without the need for screws. The foam adhesive is characterized by extremely rapid curing (less than 20 minutes for complete hardening), very high dimensional stability (+/-2%), and great sound insulation power (62 dB of acoustic insulation).
Mechanical fastening is achieved with special self-expanding wedges DOOR BLOCK – replacing old wooden wedges – to be positioned on the upper transom at the frame corners. These wedges work for gaps from 6 to 22 mm thick.
Alignment of the frame is facilitated by special mounting templates DOOR FRAME, which align the frame and counteract foam expansion pressure during foaming.
This system has been tested at the Giordano laboratory, passing mechanical strength tests for Class 4 doors (the highest possible for hinged doors), and is guaranteed for 10 years for mechanical strength performance.
