Polyester Fiber Spacer

Spacers available in various thicknesses: 2.5 mm, 4 mm, and 5.5 mm with a diameter of 20 mm in high-density polyester fiber, prevents deformation of the door frame during the expansion of the foam adhesive.

APPLICATIONS

This accessory is designed for the installation of swing internal doors. Made with polyester fiber, it is particularly recommended for use in the PosaClima Indoor PREMIUM PLUS system.

INSTALLATION

During the installation of swing internal doors, once the frame is fixed and alignment with the level is verified, proceed to the testing phase of closing the door.

In this phase, it is advisable to use two special spacers positioned on the door stop: one above the handle and the other about 20 cm from the base, before fully closing the door.

These spacers are designed to prevent any deformation of the frame caused by the expansion of the foam adhesive.

Once the foam adhesive is completely dry, the spacers can be easily removed.

This method is particularly useful during winter months to prevent potential issues due to subsequent expansion. In conditions of low temperatures and/or with the use of a thick layer of adhesive, especially when carrying out renovation work involving the removal of parts of the false frame, it is recommended to wait at least 48 hours before removing the spacers after applying the adhesive.

The PosaClima Door Spacer can be overlapped and glued to achieve a double thickness, if necessary.
