Door frame mounting template

Mounting template complete with universal locking clamp suitable for swing doors with a width between 60 and 100 cm.

Two templates are used per door, to be positioned at approximately 20 cm and 150 cm from the floor.

APPLICATIONS

The universal template is designed for mounting door frames in the PosaClima InDoor PREMIUM PLUS swing door system.

This tool is suitable for frames with a depth between 10 and 20 cm. In the case of frames with larger measurements, it is necessary to use the special plate.

The use of the template simplifies the precise and parallel alignment of the door jambs and their flush fixing.

The mounting template represents an essential tool for fixing the jambs of swing door frames in a parallel and aligned manner. It is crucial in the installation of swing doors without the use of screws, following the specifications of the PosaClima Indoor Premium Plus system. It is compatible with doors equipped with anuba or concealed hinge opening systems, with standard or flush wall mounting. This template can be used on wooden false frames (for doors on masonry walls), steel false frames (for doors on plasterboard walls), and PVC false frames (for special applications).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOOR FRAME INSTALLATION

Initial Positioning:

Form the door frame and place it on the floor with the hinges facing downward. The Posa Clima Door Frame mounting template should be placed on the opposite side from the hinges.

Extension of the Door Frame Template:

Expand the template to fit the internal width of the door frame, near the transom. Secure it using the appropriate knob. Subsequently, remove the template.

Locking at the Correct Size:

After adapting the template to the internal width of the transom, read the measurement on the millimeter rod and extend it by an additional millimeter before locking it with the knob. This extra millimeter compensates for the compression of the gaskets of the support plates when the template is locked onto the frame.

Final Positioning on the Frame:

Place two DOOR FRAME fixing templates approximately 150 cm and 20 cm from the floor, measuring and ensuring parallelism on both sides. Insert them into the groove of the telescopic strap, tighten the respective knobs, and firmly lock the template.

Verification of Frame Parallelism:

Before inserting the frame into the wall opening, check that the internal measurements of the frame are parallel at three points: upper transom, central template, and lower template.

Positioning and Fixing of the Frame in the Wall Opening:

After locking the Posa Clima Door Frame templates and checking the internal dimensions of the frame, insert the frame into the wall opening. Perform a temporary lock and check the plumb line. Subsequently, proceed with the final fixing of the frame and side straps using the Posa Clima Door Fix foam adhesive.

Important Note: Remove the templates only after the foam adhesive has completely dried, which occurs no sooner than 20 minutes.
