Flex Paintable Acrylic Sealant - DOOR FLEXO ACRYL

DOOR FLEXO ACRYL is a high-quality acrylic sealant designed to provide superior flexibility to joints, preventing crack formation on painted surfaces. Its special formulation, enriched with stabilizers, ensures perfect color retention, avoiding undesired changes in hue. Characterized by low shrinkage, it dries quickly, and it is paintable. It is ideal for sealing cracks in walls due to its plasto-elastic nature.

Paintability: Compatible with water-based and synthetic paints.

Crack Prevention on Paint: Due to its flexibility, it prevents crack formation on the painted surface.

Color Stability: Prevents undesired color variations in the paint.

Excellent Adhesion: Bonds perfectly to major construction materials without requiring specific primers.

Additional Features: Odorless, EC1 Plus Emicode certified, and classified as Class F EXT/INT according to UNI EN 15651-1.

Important Note: This product does not meet the performance requirements of sealants according to UNI 11673-1, paragraph 6. Therefore, internal use for window sealing is not recommended. However, it can be used as internal aesthetic finishing in joints if the functional laying plans have already been treated with other products.

APPLICATION AREAS

This product is specifically designed for aesthetically bridging gaps between windows and masonry, as well as between internal doors and masonry. It can also be used to bridge gaps on walls, such as cracks or holes, and is compatible with major wall substrates like plaster, gypsum, and drywall. However, it is not suitable for sealings constantly exposed to water.

It is not compatible with materials such as PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, neoprene, and bitumen.

For external application, it is recommended to do so in favorable and dry weather conditions; the sealing cord must remain dry for at least 5 hours after application. However, we cannot guarantee the durability of external application.

APPLICATION

The ideal temperature for application ranges from +5°C to +40°C, for both the surrounding environment and substrates. It is essential that all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of grease and dust. To enhance adhesion on highly porous substrates like gypsum or gas concrete, the surface can be treated with a mixture composed of one part product and two parts water.
